"An algae farm could be located almost anywhere. It wouldn't require converting prime cropland from food production to energy production. It could use sea water. And algae can eat up pollutants from sewage and power plants. An acre of corn can produce about 20 gallons of oil per year, compared with a possible 15,000 gallons of oil per acre of algae.-The AP

  • Jimbo, you'd do better as a blog. I couldn't watch this whole thing. Did you even cite the sources you were reading directly from?

  • Ok, so be it then! So when I go to your site you have done nothing about nothing. You have nothing to look at and so stand for nothing! So how can you comment on something that you have no understanding of whatsoever? And, Yes, Obama will find you out sooner rather than later! Have a nice day!

  • Sir, if you want to know what I stand for, try me at blogspot. I was trying to give you constructive advice.

Speaking as a consumer, you as a video producer have to keep people's attention when you make a video. You lost me after 15 seconds and I stayed for 30 more. If you're just doing the spoken word, you might as well do radio. That's not a criticism, it's an opinion. Try cutting in words, graphs, etc and if you didn't, make sure to cite your sources in the future.

  • But, Sir, in all respects did you happen to look back into the whole timeline and observe that this is just a part of the whole! Is the political and economies of the world the same as it was 10 months ago, a year ago, 10 years ago, or do you judge after looking at just one page of book? If you are looking for something in the past that is no longer there, then how do you know what you are looking at, or can you see the whole puzzle from only one piece?

  • greyflcn,

Do you find it your mission to naysay every productive thing regarding algae production to biodiesel. Exactly who do you work for?

  • You know what they say about things that sound too good to be true?
