Palax KS50S Firewood Processor

The new Palax KS50S is a robust PTO driven firewood processor designed for large logs. The maximum log length is 26" and maximum log diameter is 18.9". The machine is equipped with a fully hydraulic joystick control. The machine comes with an efficient 22" sawbar with a 0.404/0.063 chain. The splitting operation starts immediately after the log is cut off. The robust 24 ton metric cylinder thrusts the log quickly and efficiently against the splitting wedges, after which the discharge conveyor transfers the split firewood into bags or onto a pallet. The machine is hydraulically driven and has no V-belts. The KS50S is available as a tractor-powered unit with a 3-point hitch. The unit has as standard quick-connectors for an external live log-deck. The machine is equipped with a 4 m / 13.1 ft long belt conveyor with a hydraulically operated lift and a side swing. The machine is also equipped as standard with a hydraulic oil cooler.
