The collaborative work of Bay Area-based Laetitia Sonami and SUE-C focuses on the real-time creation of lm-like live performances. Sonami's elbow-length "lady's glove" extends her gestures, allowing her to construct eeting sonic architectures as she moves ngers, hand and arm. Video artist SUE-C synthesizes cinema from photographs, drawings, models, and interactive lighting acts. This performance is a mash-up of current works and Sheepwoman, their most recent live lm, inspired by work from Japanese author Haruki Murakami and recently performed at SFMOMA and the San Jose Biennial.
