Soprano Rebecca Caine singing Musetta's Waltz (Quando me'n vo) from La Boheme while on the Dini Petty Show (in Toronto) back in the 1990's. It was a year and a half after she left the Toronto production of The Phantom of the Opera. This aria is followed by an interview which I will post separately.

Rebecca Caine has a new solo CD out called Leading Ladies. She can also be heard singing as Christine Daae on the Canadian cast recording of The Phantom of the Opera.

If you have any videos of Rebecca please post them! Fans are starved for media of this great singer.

  • Her voice is okay but it lacks the power of an opera diva. She shouldn't even sing a song like this since she really can't do it justice. Listen to Anna Moffo or Maria Callas sing this. They blow Rebecca Caine out of the water and make her performance seem collegiate.

  • not interesting performace

  • ahahaha she is my favourite Christine but she sure makes some funny expressions around those notes. No matter; in singing its all how you sound, not what you look like.

  • but why at the beginning it is written on the screen 'Magic Flute'??

  • Her version from Vlaamse Opera in 2001 is way better.

  • Rebecca Caine rocks - always has, always will.

  • just read some of the comments below....looks like someone already corrected the announcers honest and minimal mistake..regarding the female lead in magic flute..I guess with all the horrific things going on presently, such things are about as important as a tiny blemish on a mosquitos ass.

  • The heroine from the Magic Flute .....is Pamina....Not Panima...so much for pre production research...perhaps it was spelled incorrectly on your cue cards. All I can say, is that the producers of this canadian show were darn lucky to have had this extraordinarily talented artist grace their studio.

Few singers create so many opportunities in a single lifetime, to share their unique gifts with such a varied audience. BRAVA!

  • And for the record, I would also like to state I think Rebecca Caine is gorgeous. Tah Tah.

  • Listen sweetie, her physical appearance has nothing to do with it, how many studs have overweight male opera singers portrayed.. geesh. Anyhow your childish comments are ridiculous. Rebecca Caine has appeared in countless opera's including La Boheme & have you seen her phenomenal performance in Alban Berg's "Lulu" as the title character where she won rave reviews BTW? Probably not. Your ludicrous comments just shows what a childish & ignorant little boy you are Russell.
