My brothers used to play this game when I was a pup...to this day, I am still afraid of rats, geometric figures, and unattended cigars.

Loved this game, spooky immersion in the early 90's good memories. Could never understand why they made this guy run like he's got a carrot stuck up his ass though?

Most likely because the animation techniques were still primitive. I mean, it's one of the first game with polygonal characters.
