My wife, my son and I do a journey in the Transrapid train on the attempt test track in the Emsland, Germany. The maximum speed amounted to 405 kms / h / 251 miles by hour. This journey was in 1999, here some years later there was the tragedy with the Transrapid train Katrastrophe. I would like to express at this point my grief, I wish all members of the victims a lot of strength for the future. One note: The Patent of the Tranrapid is from the german Engineer Hermann Kemper in the year 1934 ,he was annoyed by the rattling of the trains so that he thought about a drive that has no contact with something. The plan (in 1934) was to let the Transrapid drive in a vacuum tube with a speed of over 2000 km per hour, is it crazy or genius?
