Actually facing the subs forward and sealing off around the box is much louder when properly tuned. ;-) I have a little experience with these designs.

I like Maxxsonics, and my whole system is Hifonics and I'm just dying to wait for Hifonics OLM2412.

I have 6x9s and component System and 5-1/4, they're awsome, great look and power!

do you have 1 sets of MB Quarts PVi 6.5 Comps in each door.. so just the speaker and the tweeter in each door... oh yeah do you have the rear deck replaced aswell or did you take out those speakers...

i have 4 if the hf subs on 2 1100 watt audioban amps and it bangs hard rele good considering the price :)

I am also a consumer and I use many Maxxsonic products, I know sometimes we might expect more from a item, but there might me another item one step above that might have what you need..I'm just curious what units did you use that you didn't like. One thing for sure, if you talking about speakers, you need a good clear amp for sq, I learned that the hard way. There are many amps from other brands I wont use for mids/high, they upset me with there sound,..

Thank you for your feedback. I would consider this constructive rather than negative. We have made huge strides to improve the quality of MB Quart, update cosmetics, and make MB Quart much more affordable. It is often difficult to portray sound and quality in a vid. Please check out the Z8 vid for more focus on MBQ or even the DKH116.
