@dustypuppy hey thats been a great help.many thanks

TTS1 has the ability to use all of the 16 MIDI channels - so you can set up all these different sounds from one soft synth.
Most of the others (including pentagon) can only handle one channel at a time. If you want more sounds from one of these, you have to load another instance of the plugin. This will cause more strain on your computer so then you might need to freeze some tracks
Good luck

Hi
Nice tutorial video. Is it possible to recording the Virtual Synth's audio directly internally back to the PC/Sonar without having to route through an Analog Mixer?
golophei 5 months ago
@golophei yes that can be done
But its easier than that. When you want a soft synth turned into audio, simply freeze or render the part. Sonar atomaically turns the MIDI into audio :)
good luck

Hey dustypuppy, I recently purchased the East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold, and I chose to use Sonar to record music with it. I noticed you have the Silver version in your plug-in list when you hovered your mouse in the soft synth list. I need help getting my EWQLSO library in that list. Can you help me figure out what I'm doing incorrectly? I would greatly appreciate any help you may have. Thanks.

Hi
If you install the regular version it should just automatically show up in your list of soft synths. But if you installed the VST version, you may need to direct sonar where to find that. Its ok if you installed it anywhere you want; as long as you know where you put it :)
Open sonar and go to VST instruments (depending on your version - its in different places) and add this new location - rescan for VST plugins and voila - it will now show up in a sub-group called "vst"
