I use a crop on my palomino quarter horse when doing huntseat and or show hack. or when im jumping.. my horse doesnt flip out or even flinch when he sees it. its just a little tap to let him know to move his shoulders . or speed up. he doesnt mind it at all. you guys need to stop putting hurtful coments on here realize that at that young age riders usually blame the horse and never ride again. But she blamed herself and rode him for 30 extra minuites. thats a legend in the making.

ok folks just think this is great, but what the h... is the trainer doing in the middle, letting her sitting with reins allover the place, arms up and down, and on top a bigass whip, no need for a whip, but if so, use it right, its in the wrong hand, hitting the horse in ass, no wonder it bucks.

Oh come on, give the girl a break. We were all there at one point. You don't just get on a horse and become an Olympic rider. Things like what happened in this video are what makes you a better rider later.
