This is a demonstration for decorating sugar cookies with royal icing, although the bulk of the icing is done in Pt. 2. This part is mostly about tips and cutting.

You cannot wrap butter cream frosted cookies. Royal icing is the perfect solution. And yes, quite edible and delicious.

You make the icing yourself with powdered sugar and egg whites. See my other videos for instructions.

You're going to think I'm nuts but the same thing happened to my hand...however I didn't cut myself. The fingers affected with the numbness (especially when you said "half" if a specific finger) relates to nerves that run in your lower back. Did you by chance lift something heavy or put a strain on your lower back that happened to coincide with your cutting incident? This would also account for the returning numbness. Just me, but I don't think it's the cut that did it. See a doc for your back!

nope, it's just the cut, no back injury. it gets about 95% better when I am taking tons of glyconutrients, and if I back off, the numbness returns full force.
