Anytime you buy a collector car be very careful and get the car check out inside out. This corvette is worth anywhere from 5 to 10 grand not 22k. It will be worth 22k after restoration. It seem to me this Vette will need some major rust repair. I wont pay more then 5k for it because I am looking to put at least 10k in restoration.

Dude I'm a C3 vette lover and I wouldn't touch this either. You'd have to be an absolute moron to buy pay 22k for this, My brother bought a 1980 for 3k and it was in better condition.
