K2C Profile: David Denton, Mentor

The K2C Project recently brought together architecture students from Cairo and Los Angeles, who developed an urban space between the pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Musem, using the virtual world of Second Life as a collaborative design tool.

Architect David Denton, who worked on Disney Hall with Frank Gehry among many other California landmarks, mentored these promising men and women, finally meeting them in Los Angeles for the first time after working virtually for 3 months.

Documentary in three parts coming November 2010.

Drax I had never seen this film before. It was moving really. I am going through my older film clips from SL & posting them soon so I don't loose track of them, some r of the original film clips I shot of the sim Locus DB Baileys creation I was so obsessed with that sim it was majestic.

Touching story. I found the subtitles a bit distracting though, particularly as they weren't synched with the audio too well
