In Memory of Aiden Gabriel - Born Still 8-21-07

I made this in memory of my first born, Aiden Gabriel, our angel and son.

He was born still at 5 months gestation (20 wks 4 days), on Tuesday August 21st at 8:51 am.

The only photos here that I and my family take direct credit for are the personal family photos. Otherwise, the beautiful works of many artists, photographers, and sculptures that are featured in this video are mostly far superior than anything I could create on my own - therefore I take no credit for them!

UPDATE: First off, thank you for the outpouring of kinds words, thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to those who understand our pain first hand. I leave this video up, not only as a memorial to our son, but to help those who've been through such loss to know they are not alone.

9/21/09: As for my update, we are happy to report that our 2nd born, our beautiful baby girl, Abby Lynn was born June 9th 2009, healthy and beautiful at 8lb 4oz 20 inches long!! By now she is growing like a weed, and is all smiles at 3 1/2 months :) We are so blessed and so in love...

Again, thanks for all your love, prayers & kind words. We will always miss our baby boy, but know he is watching over his little sister, and the whole family.

Please excuse me for my ignorance and I don't mean this as an insult. However, I'm asking you that if you have a baby who was considered still. Then, do you still have to go through the pain of vaginal childbirth or do they go with a C-section?

@Konformation07 I can't speak for others, I suppose is some cases some may still need to have a C-section, but yes, in my case, labor was induced, and I delivered him vaginally.

My son was also born still, on March 14 2009, it is the most tremendous pain I have ever felt in my life. However I am grateful for those like yourself that share their stories and videos to let us all know that we are not alone in this long road we walk. God Bless you all and I hope your subsequent pregnancy ends in a live healthy baby.

Lynda, thank you for your kind words and comment. It's because of people like you I leave my son's memorial video on here, so that we -who have been through such loss- know we are not alone, and maybe to help others understand our grief. A sad small number of people leave heartless comments, briefly making me think why I should leave myself open to it. But they ARE a small number, & the goodness in the world remind me why its important to share this. Bless you, & your family. May you find peace.

I am so sorry to hear this! I watch this videos because I too lost a baby girl jan. 26,2011. She was my first and only child and till this day I sit and cry constantly & dont understand why things like this happen. My little girl was completely healthy and so was I and then all of a sudden she's moving all day and that night I go into early labor at 6 months and she was born asleep( stillborn) . So I know exactly how you feel. It so do very hard to deal with and it's something u never get over

@jodydawn i wish i knew how this happened i had him creamated so i can have him home with his mommy daddy and 3 big sisters i love my boy baby angel RIP my son each and every night i fall asleep holding my dear baby boys urn what can i do to help lessen the pain

i lost my first born son at almost 5 months still born 6 weeks go everyday is as hard as the first will it ever get better i cant sleep most nights and the nights i do sleep its because i have cried my self to sleep days are aweful i dont understand i was healthy my boy was growing 155 heart beat then one day gone

I have seen many youtube videos and I was having a hard day today with my infant, she is 9 months today, and I saw your video and story and It changed the way I see her. I am so so sorry for your loss and I wish nothing but the best for you and your family. Do not listen to any harsh insensitive words because they do not understand. Your beautiful angel is surely flying through clouds in the sky watching down at you...

i'm so sorry for your loss what a little angel but i like to think of it that way when a baby is lost but not lost instead a new little angel in heaven :) and more i am glad to see u had a healthy baby girl congrats! two of my kids were born preemie also
