MLB 08 The Show (PS3) - RTTS 2014 Season, SP, Game 25 Highlights (Injury)

Notes: The injury was a torn finger ligament and I was placed on the 60-day disabled list. I came off the DL sometime in October.

The Rays really had no shot of making the playoffs, they were like 8 games behind in the wild card before I went on the DL. (Like I've said many times before, these are the 08 the Show Rays, not 09)

For those of you who are interested... the playoffs went down like this:

AL: Red Sox won the East, Tigers won the Central, Rangers won the West, Yankees won the Wild Card.

NL: Braves won the East, Reds won the Central, Rockies won the West, Diamondbacks won the Wild Card.

ALDS/NLDS: Tigers beat Yankees 3 games to 1, Red Sox beat Rangers 3 games to 1, Braves beat Diamondbacks 3 games to 0, Rockies beat Reds 3 games to 1.

ALCS/NLCS: Tigers beat Red Sox 4 games to 3, Rockies beat Braves 4 games to 3.

World Series: Tigers beat Rockies 4 games to 2.

I declined all of these and went to Spring Training with the St. Louis Cardinals. Voting for the 2016 season will start soon.

you can decline the contracts offered and go to spring training for whatever team you want, then they offer you one at the end of spring training
