This is a truely magnificent interpretation. I particularly am impressed by its tempo, which is slower than the norm; combined with the timely modulations in tempo and sound level, it adds an incredibly rich dimension to the piece! Once I heard this, I felt embarrassed by my own (guitar) interpretation an decided to re-explore this piece. I raise my hat to this duo.

Excelente interpretación!!! me podrían decir el nombre del instrumento de viento???

there are several vids of El Negrito on YouTube, but this is the only one i've seen so far which captures its beauty -- other versions (all solo guitar) make it sound like an exercise or study -- those guitarists should listenen to this performance to remind themselves that music can have feeling, that phrases have lives of their own, and that individual notes serve a purpose as sounds in their own right, rather than just being a bridge between the note behind them and the note in front of them

This one is the only one version i've found that truly respects the tempo of the song. It has little pauses, in which you can let the song fill you with its harmony. For example the pause in 0:52 or 1:15. In the other video they're showing off their skills, by playing fast. That's ridiculous!
