Nothing here seems to say anything about Tai Chi, Yang is like we would understand Smith. The Yang family has no claim to any other family also named Yang. Just as I have no relation to any of the other 3 families in my apartment complex who share my last name.

Which Yang family? The Yangs of Yang Style Taijiquan fame? If so that's hard to believe. It doesn't look like any of the old or new Yang spear forms I've seen and doesn't seem to follow some of the basic Taijiquan principles (like empty stepping, for example). It looks like very good Shaolinquan to me. Taiji is kind of like English language--you learn the rules then you learn how and when to break them, but no empty stepping at all in a real Yang family spear form is unlikely.
