Personal best so far is 740 foot or 225 meters.

Last week we have launched a new rocket. Its a spliced rocket made out of 3 1,5 liter bottles.
And capabel of holding 200 psi.
We launched the rocket three times. The first 2 times where launched with the fly cam one camera onboard. But the battery failed due to low energy status we think.. Or just a shitty accu..
While we cranked up the pressure each launch + 2 bars the rocket went higher and higher. And brought us finaly over the 656 feet or 200 meter barrier. The last rocket went 661 feet up in the air!

The next time we will put the onboard cam back in the rocket for some onboard footage!

The next goal is the 1000 foot mark! With our new splice method we can pressurise our rockets up to 200 psi +. And with some carbon fibre the pressure can even be a lot higher. And then we should aim for the 1000 feet! So stay tuned for some heavy rockets!

  • verry good video ...

    amazing

how many volumes have your roket??

    it looks verry small??

  • Its vollume is about 4,2 liters. We kept it small and light weight but strong.

  • nice! i been looking on "aircommand water rocket" videos but i live in sweden so i cant make the splicing because we dont have 1.25 liter bottles!! so how did you do? can you make a toutorial? thanks!

  • @overfrozen1

    You say: I wanna win!!

If you completely use our disign then you are not the one that wins. Then we are the ones that win.. So try to make a good rocket with your own ideas! Then you realy can say I won the contest :-)

    Good luck

  • @DaanenPleunRockets hey, do u think u could show me some instructions on how to replicate this? if so it would be greatly appreciated. reason i ask is we're havin a contest in my phys class, and i WANNA WIN!!!!! lolz thanks in advance.
