so sad but best ever version- the rest of the show sucked but this song... I swear to God it was like Jerry's LAST ..... I don't know... energy being PUSHED through his dying body. It was like his good bye to the world. Fitting the show started with Touch and ended with Box of Rain. Go figure. BTW- BMR... during the first verse, listen closely; he CLEARLY says "*LAST* MUDDY RIVER"- SPOOKY!! RIP Jer-Bear- I miss you; I can't listen to this version too often; makes me so sad... so very sad..

I am so honored to have seen this performance. I am typing in tears. Listening to this just makes me such a ball of emotions...14 years later, still no place to go.
