This never took off when launched in Japan last year. And the new 3G is getting luke warm response here in Japan. There seems to be a lot of confusion about Softbank's charges, but that's no surprise given that they are the worse communications company in Japan!

iPhone is for navigate easily without carrying windows mobile or something else.
i have one of "kind" multicandoitall but is useless and unconfortable, so im soo glad that iPhone just arrived to tokyo

its not that they cant afford it. they just dont want to pay 500 for a subpar phone. my phone was about 550. it can do way lot more than the iphone. record video at 640x480. has 5mpx af focus. real gps. the nokia n95 is the phone still and it came out beginning of 2007. ill admit the iphone is pretty nice though.
