Paris 1928.
DIRECTOR: Anatole Litvak

  • @rawr81itssarah DISNEY version? Are your fucking retarded?

  • @rawr81itssarah No the 1997 moive wasn't the DİSNEY version. it was 20ST CENTURY FOX for gods sake google it people!

  • great movie! By the way, the dress she wears in Don Bluth´s animated version resembles very much to this one. I like those coincidences ^_^

  • Yul was the quintesential charismatic actor..dont care what anyone says about his personal, it was as mysterios and exotic as he was..I love me some him

  • ALWAYS loved this..no one can touch this..no remake could EVER come close

  • I love the END... Best words for an ending ever!

  • @rawr81itssarah Disney did not make that film. 20th Century Fox did.

  • One of my fave films For the person who asked about the Orthodox anthem at the beginning , it is for Easter/Pascha. The words are "Thy Resurrection, O Christ our Savior, the Angels in Heaven sing. Grant to us on the earth, to worship Thee with a Pure Heart". It is sung like in the movie during the threefold procession around the Church I LOVE Helen Hayes as the Dowager Empress. "the play is over! Go home!!!"

  • @bleedblueandpurple They based the animated film my Fox Animation Studios on this version :) they just made some very...extreme modifications to make it more entertaining for children.

  • I love and dislike the ending. As much as the romantic in me wants to see Bounine and Anna together in an all too anticipated kiss scene. This ending was so well done, very cheeky and Dowager Empress was just so brilliant in her last words ;)
