It's a great video, but I have a criticism - designing a level takes serious skill, and understanding of scripting, pacing, staging, lighting, timing, playtesting and psychology. There are very talented community level designers, but usually only a few professional-quality levels are made with fan mod-tools. I recommend you listen to the commentary on a few Valve games to see how in-depth those level designers go.

@EnigmaHood I didn't claim to the contrary. All I said was, it's a challenging thing to do and one cannot expect to do it competently, to a professional standard, without first having a solid understanding of all of the above. Plus, you could become a freelance artist, writer, sound designer, or programmer without any college education. So that's certainly no measure of talent. Level designers really don't get the respect they deserve.

@GenericRubbishName I know you didn't, but that's the point in the video. Joe Siegler's only claim to fame is being a level designer, which is a job that almost anyone can do. Give me the tools, and I can pump out a ROTT level too. Will it be any good? I don't know, but I know I can make one. Can I do artwork for a videogame? Not really. Write a good story? Probably not. Do sound? Nope. Program? Hell no. Can I make a ROTT level? Yeah, and so can you and so can almost anyone.

Do I still believe in God? Yes, I do. But to stereotype us all as the same is plain stupid. I can understand that past events have occurred do to ignorant Christian actions like the slaughtering of Native Americans and the Crusades, but to call every Christian an idiot when they mind their own is what causes problems.

Where's your evidence of Jesus being a cult leader, God exists through the coincidences and miracles of this planet, that's where I believe it came from. And I asked you because there's plenty of different kind's of Athiest that have different kind's of theories like Shinto's, Confucians, and much others. They all have their theory. In addition, I don't cram religion down people's throats, don't stereotype us all, I'm a Christian and I believe there is a link to evolution.
