William Schuman (1910-1992)
New England Triptych

II. When Jesus Wept

Max Rudolf, conductor
Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra

Written in 1956.

Released in 1970.

ClassicalRecords is a Youtube channel where I upload some excellent performances from the LPs in my collection. I'm uploading these LPs because they are either not available on CD, out of print on CD, or just difficult to find.

  • @Dionysosable omg adagio for strings the most beautiful work ever

  • I was 16 years old. I directed both the adult choir, and childs' choir what would be called middle school today band and chorus (free of course). And the arrangement was based on my experience in all city bands. Adult in the choir loft right and left side for kids singing in the round. It was moving.Peace

  • This Is one of the greatest American Classical pieces together with Samuel Barber Adagio For Strings. This is a great Version here , although I preferer the Version By Leonard Slatkin and Saint louis Symphony Orchestra from the 90´ties. But Hats of this is very nice played and conducted.
