A brilliant thing that Bowie gave up part of his set so this could be shown...We have our small problems in the western world...these guys..how do they even find the strength get out of bed in the morning?!? :-(

honestly breaks my heart from the first minute, why so much injustice and imbalance in the world? Is not it breaks their heart? What is beautiful in this?
Governors proclaim that both changes, when going to change this?
This is a violation of life, an aberration,
Thankfully, people are unique as the artists of this fantastic concert, showing these images to the world and have global consciousness, for when another Live Aid?

If you're not moved by this - you're dead.
Remember this like it was yesterday. Nothing changes. It's a sin and a shame.

forget the fucking politics forget the bull shit this is the one piece of film that makes giving to African charitys worthwhile just close your eyes and and think of that kid screaming & think of the woman wrapping her dead child in sacking for burial if you can watcth this as just another music video then you truly are a heartless bastard, this makes me cry even more now than it did i '85 cause nothing has changed

And VP's of large American Multi Nationals continue to eard $2million+ per year for little more than saying & doing the right things...what is it all about!

I still cry all these years later as I did on the night this was shown. Im ashamed that I have food left over daily and there are people with none. Too many people to blame (me to) just wish there was a way to get actual help to those in need. Help of the right kind can and should come via UN and GOVs. Wake up world this can be fixed with the right approach.

@fIRsTRATmAN I agree with you completely. I often think that the 1985 Live Aid Concert was the last time that our common Humanity exerted itself. We are so wrapped up in our owm petty issues that we fail to see the Big Picture until our noses are rubbed in it. We are all to blame for allowing this to go unchecked.
