undoubtedly, silent hill 2. then it's silent hill 3 and finally rule of rose. but remember that this rule of rose is unique in it's own way. a very beautiful yet dark game.

There's also some tremendous backtracking going on, to go with the tedious and unresponsive fighting. Despite the plot's hook, people seem to have given up halfway through. It's one I'd seriously recommend just watching on Youtube ( Iconoclast187 did a very laid back, HQ play of it not too long ago.)
