Sixes and Sevens is a new short film brought to you by award winning director Jasmine Hetherington-Wilkes.
Her passion for exploring creative ways to evolve the documentary genre can be seen throughout her body of work. Her documentaries have been nominated for major awards across the world and have won various awards including 'Best Documentary' at the Brighton Student Film Festival and 'Best Lighting' in New Yorks sen3film festival. She has just entered a five-year distribution deal in North America for her documentary 'Hidden from the Night'.

Sixes and Sevens is a 15 minute charming and humorous look into the trials and tribulations experienced in a year 2 classroom, told through the eyes of the children. Reminding us of the drama, humour, friendships and fears that are uniquely encountered in a Primary school day.

This short documentary combines observational and interview techniques with fantasy reconstructions to evoke a sense of the innocence in childhood dramas.
Having been received exceptionally at its preview at Londons BFI, it is now circulating film festivals worldwide. Please visit the Website jasminehwilkes.co.uk for more information and screenings.
