Wrong ! Too fast into corner unloads weight from rear wheel and causes rear wheel to spin up and the line of rubber is not on the white line. It was just a mistake that sadly cost a great racer his life. I will miss him as will many others. I wish I could have thanked him for what he gave to us as spectators.

Definitely nothing to do with the white line...check your eyes mate.

Any rider with shorter limbs wouldn't have tried to save the slide. Marco thought he could, but instead his knee became a pivot. So tragic.

NO.... the white line theory is wrong. WRONG>>>>>>
The rear tire start to spin before the bike passes the white line...REPEAT.... passes the white line,,, it never touch it.
Too much power in that angle.... that drop the driver off the bike...

The white line had nothing to do with it. Watch for the instant you first see the darker the front tire is leaving on the track. It is before the white line and if you notice it comes very close to but never touches it. Marco simply pushed a cold tire too far and the front folded on him. In classic Marco fashion he gave it his all to recover and when the bike regained traction it sent him across the track.

Around 29 seconds in you see Marco giving it a hand full throttle, I wonder if he changed down a gear before entering the corner and due to the increased RPM of running on the smallest section of the tyre on full lean angle and fresh tyres it locked up the rear wheel and instead of it looking like he`s spinning up the rear wheel he has locked up the rear wheel ?? causing the rear of the bike to drift left and steer the bike into the infield
