The Walking Englishman: Arkengarthdale Walk, Part 2 - Slei Gill

After the expansive views of the Yorkshire Dales countryside from Fremlington Edge Top I made my way off the fell top by carefully descending into Slei Gill. There was lots of evidence of lead mining all around with old adits, slags heaps and redundant buildings; a sadness of exploitation to such a beautiful place but the beauty is still shining through as evident in this film clip.
