I have about 10 of them that visit regularly - tip: niger and sunflower hearts mixed together. I attracted them by getting my laptop and and played goldfinches singing from Youtube on it outside. have to laugh though they get awful cranky if I run out of niger seed - it's like a drug to them

I had a pair of goldfinches eating the sunflower seeds from my feeder last night, but unlike these two they were singing to each other all the time. Me and the cat sat and watched them for ten minutes, totally entranced. What a treat!
