  • @bobgatzen It is an honor to have you, the guru, grace this page. You are a fountain of truth!

  • @prestigiousdrums Thanks! They're definitely great technique. I've been working on several different things I'm eager to show in the next videos. Thanks again. I love what you're doing. Keep it up!

  • amazing that the left is stronger and smoother sounding than the right!! It is quite impressive but the quality of the singles hand to hand is weird. What if you needed to play an ultra clean consistent smooth single stroke roll? I'd like to see a world record that includes rhythmic accuracy and quality of sound as well as speed.

  • @Drummalone Hey, thanks for watching. I dig your handle. Nice ear and eye ya' have there. Ironically, my right hand was for a long time the better of the two. Maybe there's some give and take between the two? Accuracy is a fine line at these tempos as well. Watch Mangini's 1203 run if you haven't yet. It's wild - 1200+ singles seemingly in the pocket. I think you are not alone as far as wanting to see a high score that is equally clean. I will upload soon..

  • Nice job Zac! That is really amazing technique. Nice job buddy!

Would love to get that in action on the kit.

  • @johnnyrabbtv Thanks guys! I really appreciate it. My DWs kit are at my brother's studio in Nashville. I'll be down there in the next month and I'll get some quality clips made just for YouTube :) I might post a TD-20 clip in the meantime.

  • @gohopdrummer but if you can play THAT fast for a minute then imagine how long you could play at a lower speed. I think that's the idea, it not only builds tremendous speed, but tremendous endurance also, and in a short amount of time

  • @zacula86

D-aaammmm That's CrAzY and sick! The Blue Man Group should be beating your door down to join up!

    Impressive!

  • Um.... wow! Ya, there were some blurps around the one minute mark, but I can't imagine a gig where you'd need to do it that fast for a minute straight.

  • Hahahaha It seems to be so simple now that you show it ! In the next 20 years i think I would have it working lol. Great Technique !!

  • OK Zac...I'm officially JEALOUS! Man... speed, accuracy, musicality... truly.. Science & Art... so where's your "shop coat"?

  • great job!! we've begun practicing this technique with our jams. really, really awesome!
