Thirty-five years ago you couldn't have convinced me that I would end up in the motorcycle business. I had spent most of my formative years grooming to become a professional baseball player. After a few short years on the mound pitching for the Red Sox, my career was cut short by a shoulder injury.

Thankfully, as luck would have it, I had spent my off-season from baseball working in an automotive carburetor manufacturing facility. After a few years, I formed my own company, T.G.I. and spent the next 20 years building carburetors and starter motors for the automotive market. My company caught the eye of one of the world's larget carburetor manufacturers, Weber Italy. They made me an 'offer I could not refuse', and I sold the company. Now I was out of the automotive manufacturing business. What next?

After baseball, my passion had always been motorcycles, as I owned one before purchasing my first car at age 15. A decade later, I started manufacturing after-market accessories for motorcycles (high-torque starter motors, mega battery cables) and eventually reunited with Weber to complete the starting and fuel system product line you see today. We now offer a complete high-performance line of Weber carburetors, along with an individual runner manifold for the V-Twin applications. Just when I thought my line was complete, I find myself introducing more and more products as the Harley® industry grows and changes. We are proud to announce our newest addition, the Terry Components' Terminal Velocity ™ Fuel Injection Management System.
