The light's NOT broken... trust me mine does that too. But if you put in a disc, the whole light system should blink once. Look close, because both the top AND bottom light up. That Brightening and dimming is because if the bottom light. Nintendo just made it do that for show.

no. it is broken. the bottom half of the light is dead. its not broken basically. look at your wii's. top and bottom lights lights up when u get messages. you shouldnt get only 1 lighting up

Wait, guys! I see what he's tryin to say. Wii internet stand-by and messages arent the point. His Wii blue LED light isnt shining the way it should, its far too dark.
