I quit watching the history channel when they stopped showing history, and started showing garbage to attract women and 13 and 16 year olds, their new slogan "history, made everyday" is not only garbage its a lie, history is not made everyday its made many years ago through blood toil and tears and sweat, not pawn shits and ice road wannabes ugh i dont even wanna name anymore of the new shows because their just fucking garbage, long live the old history shows, the real ones, HC plz take note =)

I dun take history as a subject but these kind of documentaries on war interest me... ^^ as long as they're not too gory. Really interesting.

@de4th1snt3nough i do have a passion for military history its sad that so many people have lost interest into a very important subject like the old saying goes those who do not learn from history are condemed to repeat it i have many books on ww2 most of them are on nazi germany but i will always love the old history channel not the new one i would ne happpy if u would share some things with me i am always looking for others who have the same interests as me

I'd even be willing to purchase you a book or two as a gift for being interested in military history as long as your serious about it and like reading. Us who have a passion for military and military history are a dying breed, we gotta keep it alive, and if my time and a little money is all it takes, then so be it! ☺

@Sabuu2010 to be honest today's kids can't wait for them to be dead. They hate someone older than them to be in a position of authority and actually dare to have better values and a unrepeatable record of accomplishments. That generation starved to death in a great american depression to grow up in time to save the world from fascism and Japan's Imperial goals. I will always respect them, but alas they can't wait for me to be gone too. Combat vet X 2 and a son of a China/Burma Theater Vet.
