The little old lady from Pasadena
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
Has a pretty little flower bed of white gardenias
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
But parked in her rickety old garage
Is a brand new shiny red Super Stock Dodge
And everybody's saying that there's nobody meaner
Than the little old lady from Pasadena
She drives real fast and she drives real hard
She's the terror of Colorado Boulevard
It's the little old lady from Pasadena
If you see her on the street don't try to choose her
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
You might drive a goer but you'll never lose her
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
Well, she's gonna get a ticket now sooner or later
'Cause she can't keep her foot off the accelerator
And everybody's saying that there's nobody meaner
Than the little old lady from Pasadena
She drives real fast and she drives real hard
She's a terror of Colorado Boulevard
It's the little old lady from Pasadena
~Instrumental~
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
~Instrumental~
Go granny, go granny, go granny go
The guys come to race her from miles around
But she'll give 'em a length then she'll shut 'em down
And everybody's saying that there's nobody meaner
Than the little old lady from Pasadena
She drives real fast and she drives real hard
She's a terror out on Colorado Boulevard

These guys were musicians. Great and surprising harmony line on the bottom. (And by the way, his conducting pattern in 4 is correct.)

I fully agree with the pop2rock2country person that Jan and Dean should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. All Jan and Dean fans work together to make this happen by emailing the Hall of Fame for this very purpose. Why have they not already been inducted is my big question?

No wonder they thought Sly Stone was Satan - compared to these white-bread choir boys. !

@batmancollegestudent One of the main reasons The Beach Boys records became such big hits was because of Jan Berry's expert studio production skills he shared with Brain Wilson when they were collaborating. Dude really? I think its safe to say they all benefited in one way or another from each other and shared in the success.

This footage, of course, from the long supressed (due to legal problems) but now out on DVD "TAMI Show" (TAMI meaning Teen Age Music International") which was filmed in 1964 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Jan & Dean played host to a galaxy of stars. The audience shots ARE great. Can you see ANY guys in the seats? The girls are totally thrilled and delighted by the goodtime, euphoric sound coming out of two very handsome guys. I'm glad I came to personally know both Jan and Dean.
