And did I mention that I absolutely adore Lesley Gore. When I was really little I saw her on a re-reun of the 60's Batman show. Talk about having a crush on her...and I had no clue she was the famous voice behind the classic and iconic "It's My Party" song.

As a pop version I thought nothing would ever match the Julie London jazz version. But this version is just as good Julie London's version.....it's my favorite actually.

Where do you come up with the photos you use? Are they record covers? There are so many that I never have seen before short of a record cover or a 'bulk' photo sent to fans. You also have a wonderful collection of Ms. Gore's music. Wonderful!
