A photographer doesn't have to LIKE the context of the photograph.. so Charlotte hates the smelly fruit and finds it disgusting.. a REAL photographer, artist, wouldu appreciate even the disgusting or different or offending things as art, and how could she not appreciate the architecture, the colors, textures, the people? I would love to go there and take pictures.. capture moments, transactions, imperfect variables of life.

I find it very sad that Charlotte's parents find the need to say such negative things about each other to their child.

@ilovemusic555 Umm as far as Im concerned, I think we are all judgmental...no matter if we try not to...we will judge nonetheless. Plus, You are no exception. You, yourself, judged me for being judgmental and also labelled us as being ignorant. Even without knowing her background or where she's coming from, I still don't believe that her behaviour was acceptable. Oh and ill judge whoever I feel like judging. I could care less who would want to hate me for it...its just my opinion.

@cornelius386 As a woman of the 21st century you can't rely on marriage for stability. you should be able to make it on your own if/when need be. If you rely on your husband for money, and you decide to leave the relationship, he can cancel your credit cards, etc and leave you stranded. Without marketable skills to rely on, women are at the mercy of their husbands, dependent on their character, which is NOT a good situation.

I would happily strangle Charlotte, nasty little girl. India is a FASCINATING country with it's cities such as Mumbai etc, I would love to go there! It would make a lovely change to the scum England has!

@surey411 The good you see in others is the good you see in you, and the bad you see in others is the bad you see in yourself.

Whenever you judge someone (doesn't matter what your reasoning is or "theories") it really puts more of a mark on you as a judgmental individual than it does on the person you're judging.

I don't agree with her behavior, however, who am I to judge without knowing the reasons behind it? Exactly I have no right just like none of you do.

@ilovemusic555 All of what u stated are no excuse for the negative attitude she had towards the Indian lifestyle. I think she's just plain spoilt and just not trying hard enough...Yes being a teenager is hard but who said life was gonna be easy. There are times when one has to think about rising above the occasion and making something of yourself. She definately failed to do that. And dont just sit there and make an excuse for her cuz its not gonna help you or her.
