Amazing Actroid female robot

Once restricted to the realm of science fiction, robots are slowly becoming a reality in everyday lives. One such example is the 'Actroid', a humanoid robot developed by Osaka University that is modeled after a young Japanese woman.

Several models have been released since the first Actroid was unveiled at the 2003 International Robot Exposition in Tokyo, Japan. They are designed mainly to serve as receptionists answering questions in several different languages or anchors introducing stage acts.

In this video, meet the Actroid in Hong Kong as she directs guests around Ocean Park's new 'Empire of the Dinosaurs' attraction.
