Fantastisk! Tack så mycket. Jag har en bouvier (vuilbaard!), som är min fjärde hund av denna rasen, och jag kan inte leva utan en bouvier i mitt hem. De är verkligen intelligenta och söta.

Your Bouvier will absolutely LOVE a hike, maybe start smaller and build your dog up to the 20 miles however.
Also I don't know what kind of hikes you are going on, but I have had two bouviers, and tried to summit mountains with them and they both refused to go on once we got into alpline terrain.
And, they do not hold up too well in the heat unless you get their hair cut real real short, and bring a ton of water.
Hope Ive helped, happy trails.

Hi all, I'm probably going to get a Bouvier for my first dog that'll be my own (have had experience with dogs growing up). I am wondering, however, if any of you know how much they would enjoy going on day hikes? The most I've ever hiked was 20 miles, though usually it's around 10. Also, how well do these dogs hold up in the heat? Thanks for your input!

these dogs are highly intelligent, I've owned two, they love to work, so why have you docked its ears? there really is no need, never done it with mine, never will.
What a grand and fetching Utah. Is she still alive ? My 5-year old Bouv owns me, not the other way round.
