  • I don't like the idea of JROTC. It's a big waste of time.

If you join the military straight out of HS, you're going to be a private, regardless of whether or not you've had JROTC.

Students who want to go into the service and have high ranks need to know computers, foreign languages, and be in shape.

  • @MondoBeno

Most of the cadets in jrotc don't join the military. I'm not.

Hell, I'm going to Humboldt when I graduate... ;)

The leadership and discipline it teaches doesn't hurt anything, so I disagree.

  • @MondoBeno YOU ARE RETARTED, you gain 3 pay grades which are 3 ranks up in the military right as you join. Which means you are 3 ranks HIGHER then anyone who wasnt in jrotc for 2 years... Thats all 2 YEARS. Learn your facts dumbass/

  • @MondoBeno actually to correct you if u do jrotc then college for the 4 years then you go in as a 2nd lt and one kid from our school went in as a e4 right away things happen my friend

  • @MondoBeno A lot of jrotc graduates dont go enlist to become privates. they become officers and strive to be the best officer they can be. unlike you where you just want to do the dirty job.

  • @MondoBeno yeah, private first class.

  • @MondoBeno Actually, if you do JROTC for 3 years, and enlist in a branch of service you will recive the E-3 pay grade (PFC, A1C, or Seaman in the Navy or CG) Rather then a E-1 this holds true for all branches of the service and of JROTC.

On a side note the USMC will only give you E-2, or Private First Class, for 3 years of JROTC rather then an E-3 which in the Marines is a Lance Corporal.

    Go Navy!

  • ERIC!!!!!!!!!

  • WHOS READY FOR KHHAKI UNIFORMS

  • @roxasfalen hell yeah look up Rancho high school the best AFJROTC in neveda

  • @MondoBeno jrotc does teach leadership and discipline which I like. But your wrong about the private thing. If you graduate from JROTC into a military school, you begin as an officer. You have the choice.
