If only they'd let us see Kathryn grieve and struggle over letting Mark go like this! It would have made Kathryn feel a little more real, and made Mark more than just a convenient plot device for keeping Kathryn and Chakotay apart. Beautiful job!!! :D

I've seen every TNG episode dozens, even hundreds of times. I never had the opportunity to do so with voyager. I missed the message in these scenes.. no doubt alongside many others. between the two, I believe there has never been aired a finer series in television history.
