Absolutely right--OTT can give you a massive pull-hook, in fact, depending on what your hands and forearms are doing with the clubface as you come out to in.
Another bad shot from OTT: The steep semi-chunk toe-hit that flops out weakly to the right.

What I noticed was as I watched his hands, I know it is an arm swing, is on the downswing it is inside the same line he took it up. So much easier said than done for us old baseball swingers. I found Johnny Miller's tip of just dropping your arms first works so much better for me since it allows me to do a proper release and I have gained much more distance and direction as all it requires is having proper timing which I had as a baseball and softball player years ago. Just me talking.

@Dreama40 A slight over the top action does not eliminate shots going left, when you swing over the top, your bad shot will be a pull.

Question to conventional golf idiots: What's Toms clubface angle compared to plane on top?
Answer: Aprx 45 deg *open* (to PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE)
That means Tom will have to close those 45 deg with either a hands move or roll of arms coming down to impact, right?
How the hell does this become OPEN in golf terms????????
