Sorry for my delayed response. Always get pipe tobacco in bulk (bags) as opposed to tins. I recommend pipe tobacco from Cornell and Diehl. It is called Billy Bud

All tobacco is pretty cheap, which is the nice thing about pipe tobacco. A good 2 oz. tin with only cost you about 12 bucks ish, and will last you a very very long time. I recommend going to a local pipe shop however, which offers it's own blends. My local pipe shop only charges about 5 bucks per 2 oz. bag, so I recommend buying two or three different blends. Try an aromatic, an english blend, and an oriental, just to get a bearing on what kind of tobacco you like best. I'm also in college.
