it might be a "communist scar" but it's still beautiful, not something to be ashamed of
as for the surroundings well it's not hard to plant a tree but I guess the politicians need the money for their big fat salaries and expensive cars

I've been there and I can tell you one thing: it is a scar left over by the communist regime. Not only that but the grounds surrounding the park look abandoned. I like Lipscani way better; no communist buildings there.
