I was disappointed by the statue and the Island, nothing interesting there. If this statue were in a poor country it were nothing. Move some Budhas from Nepal or Butan, or move Tlaloc from Mexico to the USA (which are really master pieces) and they will gain international reputation.

No, I think the Lady is made of a sort of copper. Some time ago I read that bronze was way too heavy for transportation to the US.
