The last GP at this track was 1970 (I was there!) and then they moved the Canadian GP exclusively to Mosport where it rained almost every raceday till 1978 I think before going to Montreal.
(yt never reposted) Im loving the 1994 412t1. Last generation of v12, and in my opinion the best sounding formula car. Check the drive by starting at 2:33 and turn your sound up.
Actually, F1 did race at Mont Trembalnt and Mosport, but that was in the 60's and 70's, just before making the move to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the canadian race.
And you're right in saying the F1 circus should not visit these superbe tracks you mentionned other that for demo and gatherings...
@youfermont b sure if F1 goes there, mont tremblant won't be the same beautiful track anymore. look what bernie ecclestone is doing to classic F1 tracks. it's a shame :(
I hope F1 will never ever visit such circuits, as brands hatch, elkhart lake, VIR, lexington, laguna S., dijon, thruxton, sachsenring, zandvoort, or mosport
Tremblant is a fabulous track, Canadian GP should return there, it's much more beautiful than Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and pilots would be glad to race there. Also, the sound of the F1 in those mountains is incredible. I went to the Champ Car in 07 and it was the best race i ever saw. ( other place i went are Montreal, Pescara, Toronto, Indianapolis, Laguna Seca, Brent Hatch and Lexington

The V-10's sound great. The Berger V-12 sounds so much better!
