I first heard her sing this song in the early 70s; my brother and I used to sing it a lot and there isn't a day passes by when a part of it doesn't cross my mind. I know Willie wrote it but Joanie owns it - thank you so much for posting - I'm in my 55th year of life and this tune to these words have made it easier to keep on keepin' on.
