Views of the audience were appalling and I absolutely LOATHED the scenery. What can the designer have been thinking of?
However, the choreography was lovely and the pas de deux was fabulous. Of course it was danced marvellously well.

Regarding the background/scenery:
It has nothing to do with this Anna Karenina or any other spedific ballet. This is an outdoor stage at "Kastellet" where the RDB in the summer traditionally presents some scenes from the repertoire of the coming season.
