Picasa is a great tool to organize and edit your photos quickly and easily. Picasa is free to download from Google (www.google.com/picasa). Built-in to Picasa is a handy tool to create a backup of selected photos in your library and save them to CD or DVD (you can even span multiple CDs or DVDs if your data exceeds the size of selected media). This is a quick method to archive your images or transfer photographs to another computer, along with any editing steps performed, or information tags added to the photos. The video also demonstrates the restore procedure, once archive is created. SierraTech features Picasa in our photography class, because of it's ease of use, and a powerful tool for free.
