Chopin | Allegro de Concert op.46 (concert)

Christmas Concert on deceber 8th 2010 at Carlos Gomes Theater, Blumenau, Brazil. I played Chopin's Allegro de Concert op.46, a relatively unknown and rarely played masterpiece of the composer, as a celebration for his 200th birthday. I didn't have much time to practice it, so there are some issues that I surely intend to enhance in the future. But, for now, that's what I got. I hope you enjoy it. Comments welcome, as always!

This is one of my favorite works by Chopin, and despite the errors this could have I think you played nicely, and specially knowing you are an architect. I don't even know how you managed to learn this monumental piano work while being an architect. Great job!

@preppychrisbou Thanks! This is one of my favorites too. As I once said somewhere, I had only three months to work on it (and to deal with my real work as an architect, haha), so if i had more time, i'm sure it would be a lot better. I just couldn't get past 2010 without playing this wonderful piece. :)

I would love this video more if the audio lined up with the video. It was hard to keep up with the fingerings you chose.

@Snafuski Hahaha true! Thanks! And I'd be offended too if that was in a CD. Of course there are lots of mistakes, but who cares? That's the good thing about youtube - you can post everything. @trms83br I will say this: great for someone who is not a pro. I love this piece of music, and I think you give it a nice feel. it is also a very difficult work. I would be offended if I bought an expensive CD and found this , but U-Tube is free and is a place where people can show things they do.... Keep it up. I haven't the courage to put vids on U-tube (I do two Chopin etudes, both C-minors)

@joaquindalessio Hahahaha, that's why i'm an architect, not a pianist. See, it was the student's concert and i was playing the piece for only 3 months. My daily routine, as i own an architecture office, is extremely heavy and gives me almost no spare time to keep up with my piano studies. I am terribly sorry if it sounds so offensive to the point you had to leave a comment. But, anyway, i thank you for your opinion. There are, indeed, lots of mistakes. Best regards!

Oh come on!!! Lots if mistakes, I can't believe how you could play it in a concert!!! For playnig live, one should know much better the works ones!!! Forgettable!!!
