SEP 10 2007 Roy Bercaw at Cambridge MA City Council

Speaking as the Chief Physician's Assistant for the Mid Cambridge Chapter of the American Association of Politicians who Support Assisted Suicide of the United States, Concerned Citizen Roy Bercaw, suggests that telling the Cambridge City government to obey the law is like telling an alcoholic to stop drinking. He urges the Council to beautify the Intersection of Lincoln Way and Windsor Street by hiring Jennifer Anniston and Lindsay Lohan to stand there and sign autographs. He asks for equal treatment of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton to get streets named for them as for the millionaire movie stars Damon and Affleck.
In a serous tone he observes that the request to the City Manager to evaluate the City's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act is silly in view of the many previous requests which he effectively ignored. He exposes the unlawful failure of the Superintendent of Schools to include persons with disabilities in his affirmative action hiring report. He laments the focus on persons of color at the expense of persons with disabilities.
