San Francisco Zip Line: The British Columbia Experience

The British Columbia Experience Goes to San Francisco and you can experience a FREE urban zipline that will take you over 700 feet across Embarcadero Square! Tourism BC Field Reporter Chris Wheeler takes a sneak peek and rips down the zipline before it opens on April 8th!

The zipline is just one element of The British Columbia Experience, the event will also feature free public dance performances by the world-renowned Aboriginal dance group the Le-La-La Dancers, an interactive video display, a 3D art installation, and more. So we will see you there!

@JustPlaneNuts The people who brought the zip line to the city are from British Columbia tours. they had the same zip line set up at the olympics in canada... then the zip line went on tour to San Francisco with the goal of promoting tourism to British Columbia.

I was there, on the last two days of it. I tried to do it on the 9th, the 2nd day of it, but got there too late in the day. then i tried to do it on friday the 16th, but still got there too late to do it. they only gave out 500 wristbands a day, you had to have a wrist band to do it. so I was there at 5am on sat. & sun. the last two days, it was Extremely Fun. the View was Amazing. and the BC crew were Very Helpful & Friendly. :) I'd So do it Again, if given the chance. :)
